Accuplacer Information and Practice Questions
http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/accuplacer/
The Accuplacer shows you how far along you are toward being ready for college-level work. The more you know about Accuplacer, the better your scores are likely to be and the more likely you are to test college-ready.

PLATO Learning Network
http://www.platoweb.com/
If you scored below college-level on any of your Accuplacer tests, this site can help you catch up: online tutoring in reading, writing, math (including fractions), and algebra—FREE through your high school or ECforME. PLATO can save college costs as well as time to graduation. Successfully completing the appropriate PLATO module(s) means you can start college with college courses—instead of developmental (remedial) courses that may cost $400 each. Ask your Guidance Counselor or ECforME Regional Director.

FAFSA: Free Application for Federal Student Aid
http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/
Start here for federal financial aid. This site gives you and your parents a quick tutorial for completing and filing your FAFSA. The first step is to choose your PIN:

http://www.famemaine.com/education/ScholarshipSearch.asp
FAME can help you find scholarships and other financial assistance for which you may qualify, including the need-based $1,200 Maine State Grant. You may be eligible if you file your FAFSA by May 1. Filing the FAFSA also makes you eligible for additional aid from your Maine community college.
